Welcome to the History of Blues and Zydeco
The history of Blues and Texas Zydeco music is too big for one person to know it all. If you know of historical links and stories about the early Blues in Texas or anywhere, just send them to:

I am in the beginning stage of writing a series of children's books on the blues and zydeco music and what the blues are to a child 6 years of age named Tarza Lee.
Tarza Lee was born in the West Indies but came to the American shores as a slave girl. I will follow her life in America from first grade to high school.
